Can the Chicago Bulls Make The Eastern Conference Finals?
Dash replied to Pooh25's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
Its possible but there is just too much we don't know about this Bulls team right now. We already know what Rose can do to defenses, absolutely murdered the Magic in the lone game he was healthy with a 30/6/7 performance, but what about the rest of the team? How will the Rose/Boozer duo work out? Can Noah take the Dwight Howards and Chris Bosh's out of games and whose going to stop Wade/Lebron? How does the new-look bench respond? Can Thibodeau coach an offense? So yes they potentially can make it to the ECF but its going to take a monster series from Rose/Boozer and great production from the bench to do. -
These are gold. http://docfunk.blogspot.com/ http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_CqDk4jAv_Y4/TLY5EM2VkRI/AAAAAAAAFE0/LxK57pyd5O8/s400/01.jpg http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CqDk4jAv_Y4/TLY5M0aH8hI/AAAAAAAAFF0/rmvch8MqLAA/s1600/09.jpg http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CqDk4jAv_Y4/TK95kPLxRSI/AAAAAAAAFAE/cyfxbUP4krI/s400/11.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CqDk4jAv_Y4/TKwBOxG3NcI/AAAAAAAAE8U/aSTxDmOcbbQ/s400/11.jpg

I realize its preseason but I'm on the Wesley Johnson bandwagon, dude's incredibly well rounded and very efficient player.
-
Bargnani hasn't been looking too hot on the stat sheet. Does he just not care about playing hard in the preseason or has he just been that bad?

This game comes on NBA TV in the morning but its blacked out in Houston. WTF?
-
Same. You don't know what the [expletive] is going on but you keep watching it anyways.
-
Anyone else still watching the new season? Its been pretty decent so far.

Not a huge fan of the flashbacks but the show has been getting better and better by each episode.

You Don't Need Jason Bourne For A Bourne Movie, Apparently

I don't think I ever watched any of the movies. Am I missing out? -
Kobe Bryant may not be ready for season opener
Dash replied to magicbalala245's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
I'd rather lose a close game to a healthy Lakers team than beat them when they're damaged. I was hoping that after opening night people would stop underrating us like they do every single year. -_- -
Kobe Bryant may not be ready for season opener

I hope Kobe plays, I've been looking forward to this game for far too long and I don't want Houston to lose one of its 3 national tv games either. -
Courtney Lee - Chase Budinger alley oops
Dash replied to Multi-Billionaire's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
I guess it didn't take long for Bud and Lee to build some chemistry. Both looked really good out there together. -
I see. Thanks.

If you sim do you still get skill points?

I've tried to watch some of the youtube Abridged series and they were all just too awful. The only one that was ever funny to me was the original abridged series, which was Yugioh. Everyone else seems to be just copying the guy that did that.

The remake 'Kai' is actually much faster paced. The Raditz fight was done in 3 episodes and the saiyan saga last roughly 5 or so episodes. I think its the 35th episode now and Goku is about to fight Freiza.

Yeah very encouraging to see from the big fella. We won't see him tonight but hopefully we see more of this in China.
-
I just don't get what they show in Kareem that prompted them to take him over Kyle Wilson. We're not going to get far if we keep giving up 400 passing yards every game.
-
Our pass defense has to be the worst in the league. Texans thought Kareem Jackson would fill some holes there but he's done the exact opposite. What was with Kubiak's [expletive]ing obsession to draft 3-4 tight ends when it was clear we needed more than one corner?
-
The Giants' defense is ridiculous, we can't anything done. Schaub continues his rather disappointing season.

The Cavs still have some decent role player in Antawn Jamison, Mo Williams, Anderson Varejao and Anthony Parker that could prove to be valuable to contending teams.I can definitely see all 4 of these players being thrown around in trade rumors to teams that want to keep up with or get ahead of competing teams. The trade deadline is when see that sort of thing when teams begin to get desperate for a change. Do you see the Cavaliers willing to let go of pieces that all played big roles during the Lebron James era? Gilbert seemed deadset on somehow winning a championship before Lebron James does, do you think he continues with this mindset and keeps his player or will he allow this team to take another step in rebuilding?

Take a look at the starting point guards for the past 20 NBA championships. 2009-2010: Derek Fisher 2008: Rajon Rondo 2007: Tony Parker 2006: Jason Williams 2005: Tony Parker 2004: Chauncey Billups 2003: Tony Parker 2000-2002: Derek Fisher 1999: Avery Johnson 1996-1998: Ron Harper 1994-1995: Kenny Smith 1993: BJ Armstrong 1991-1992: John Paxson The last time the starting point guard for a championship team averaged 8 assists per game or more (Avery Johnson was close with 7.4) was in 1990 when Isiah Thomas averaged a triple double. However, Isiah was most notably known for his scoring and penetrating ability, so you can hardly call him a pure point. Thoughts?

For over a decade, the Wolves have looked to highly skilled big men in Kevin Garnett and Al Jefferson to carry the scoring load. Now that Minny has moved past the Al era, who will now be the feature of their offense?

2010-11 Season Preview: Houston Rockets
Dash replied to htown11's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Good read. I'm beginning to see why Morey made that trade for Lee, great chemistry guy and is well built in literally every part of the game. Whether its scoring, keeping in front of his man, passing and even rebounding, Lee seems to be able to do it all. I still don't like the trade as I see Ariza as an elite defender and great compliment to Yao and Martin, but I am warming up to it. Like I've said in the past, this season depends heavily on how much of a point guard Aaron becomes. So far he's impressed me with his passing but I'd like to see if he can carry it over for 82 games. I think Martin will compliment Yao beautifully when he's in the game, expect Kevin to once again lead the team in scoring. I'm also very excited to see how our youngins have grown and mesh in the princeton offense. -
Serious question. As much as I hate to admit it, Yao has had 5 straight injury prone seasons, 4 of which were season ending, which does not help your team in the long run if are never out there on the court during the playoffs. Now Amare has had his fair share of injuries but no where near the extent that Yao has faced. Would things have been differently with Amare or more of the same, if not worse? How would a duo of Amare/Tracy McGrady have faired? We've never seen Amare play at a high level so could he have led us to the second round like Yao did in 2009?
