Great commercial. In the end it was his decision to make and he made it by moving on with his life to Miami while stomping on the hearts of millions of Cleveland sports fans. Yes it was really crummy for those fans but Lebron wasn't going to stay somewhere he really didn't want to for other people's enjoyment of a SPORT.

Preseason statistics: 8.1 points per game (35% and 11% from three), 2.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1 steal and 1.5 turnovers in 23 minutes of action. Besides an impressive 26 point game performance against the Lakers, Gordon has struggled through the entire preseason. His shot doesn't seem to be sinking in anywhere from the field, losing the ball and getting into foul trouble, but the impressive thing about him is that he's quietly getting it done in other stat fields. He's rebounding well for the minutes he's played and he's picking his man's pocket. He's also getting to the line at an impressive rate, shooting 29 free throws in 8 preseason games. Anyways where do you see Gordon in Utah's rotation? Will begin to get his stroke back as the season begins and later crack into the starting lineup? Or will be buried at the end of Sloan's bench?

This sounds a lot like the forum version of The Apprentice. Anyways congrats everyone and thanks Real for the opportunity. Sun Tzu lets keep the Northwest clean.

I think you're forgetting the worst defense in NFL history, the Texans'.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702304741404575564463288685240.html While the tickets are cheaper and the soccer stadiums are bigger, its still impressive how quickly the MLS has caught on since the World Cup.

I would probably watch more MLS, English Premiere League and Champions League soccer. College basketball/football make decent substitutes and there is always wrestling.

Blazers Trade Jerryd Bayless to New Orleans
Dash replied to The Lone Granger's topic in General NBA Discussion
It could be a stroke of genius from Demps and the Hornets just as easily as it could be his worst move yet especially if the Hornets don't step up in this suddenly deeper Western Conference. Bayless does have loads of potential though, tons of hype back in 2008 and many expected him to go #4 to the Thunder. -
Carmelo said he will not sign extension in Cleveland

The Celtics had Rondo, who classifies as an up and coming star. Constructing a lineup full of all-stars is far more difficult than starting from scratch with a young star. -

So arguably the best power forward in the history of the game is above average? You need stars get to get around this league, there is no getting around it with the exception of the 2004 Pistons. -

Either route would have been just fine but I really think Ariza is going to surprise some people this year. -

Demps has been very impressive in his short stint with the Hornets. Great move. -
Vazquez May Join Magic Next Season
Dash replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Orlando Magic Team Forum
We heard the same thing from him 2-3 years ago and he didn't come over. Maybe he's more serious this time but I'm not buying it until something more concrete comes up. -
You're forgetting just how good this team was. 2 years ago the Rockets were one game removed from stealing the #2 seed and also took the Lakers to their second 7 game series in 3 years without their star player for half the series. Not to mention this year's team is better than it was 2 year ago.

Miller out till January, Stackhouse to Miami?
Dash replied to AboveLegit's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
Agreed. The zone could easily be turned to the Heat's kryptonite come playoff time. -
Both players are solid but the tiebreaker for me was Dudley's length and athleticism. Afflalo is the better lockdown defender but personally I would rather have Dudley's hustle and ability to crash the boards.

Wow we've really been filling some holes the last few days. A Pacers, Jazz and now a Spurs fan. Anyways welcome! Hope you stick around.

Stat line against the Spurs tonight: 21 points, 5 of 8 from the field, 4 of 5 from behind the arc in just 17 minutes of play time. Total preseason stats: 16 points per game on 9 shots, roughly 48% from the field and 50% from 3, in merely 22 minutes. I realize that is just preseason but it doesn't take away the fact that Martin has been extremely impressive in the Princeton thus far. I do expect these numbers to drop once the season starts obviously, but I can't help but think that Martin's play has a lot to do with this. Martin has talked about never feeling 100% for the past 2 years until the start of training camp. Martin's numbers in his last 'healthy' season: 24 points per game 45% from the field 40% from three 10 free throws attempts per game These are his numbers without a premiere big men to feed off of and Rick Adelman's offense. The biggest issue with the Rockets has been that they don't have a designated focal point (at least one that plays more than half the game), if Martin could produce anything like this then I can easily see Houston slipping into the top half of the Western Conference standings. Of course like every year for a Rockets star its if he can stay healthy. Btw anyone remember this statement from Morey?

How Good Will Darko Milicic Be this Season?
Dash replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
I think he will have a fairly decent season, nothing outstanding but he will be better than what most people are expecting. His blocking and passing abilities have impressed me over the preseason and he has shown a willingness to learn, something we haven't ever seen from him in the past. -
http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/85/england/2010/10/20/2175176/wayne-rooney-confirms-he-wants-to-leave-manchester-united Wow I did not see this coming. Rooney continues to fall in the eyes of fans but he's still the premiere striker in England if he has the right midfileders and strikers around him (Tevez?). Highly doubt ManU moves him now but if Rooney is still not happy in the coming months then I can see a transfer going down.
