Speak of the devil. Lol that match was pretty decent compared to some of the others. So besides the useless Punk vs Show match and the tag turmoil, I got everything right. Some thoughts on the six pack match: -Jericho getting eliminated in the first few minutes was wack. Terrible way to go, hopefully this isn't the end for him. -Edge had his moments in this match but he was more of a 'helping hand' to Sheamus. It was cool to see him spear a few guys and get some momentum but it didn't last. -Super Cena is no more. -Barret did little to nothing early match but he took over mid-match and when Nexus showed up. I was surprised that he went before Sheamus, the WWE has done a terrible job of maintaining Wade's momentum. -Nexus is done. -Sheamus wasn't actually that bad, he dominated the match more than anyone and the WWE did a fair job of not belittling him. Can't say the same for the rest of the competitors though. -Cool to see Orton win the title, he's my fave wrestler but I was honestly going for Barret so him and Nexus would have something going for them. -Nexis is [expletive]ing done.

Kevin Martin Finally 100 Percent Healthy
Dash replied to ChosenOne's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
2 years since he's been 100%? Yikes but its exciting to know that there is still more to see from Martin. -
Interesting that you mention Lowry. He was our sixth man last season and he got his shots but they were mostly from attacking the basket and getting to the line. Lowry was never much of a shooter but his 'attack, attack' mindset did make up for that. However, I like Bud more as our 5th as I already mentioned he's a sharp-shooter and knows how to get himself open.

This. Nothing hurt worse than losing that series.

Rockets look to add another big to play behind Yao
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Sort of an update: Dan Fegan, agent for Fesenko and Dampier, reportedly will talk to Morey today. http://www.myfoxhouston.com/dpp/sports/nba/100915-rockets-express-interest-in-dampier-and-fesenko Also it was reported by one of the posters at clutchfans that Morey met with Fesenko at a restuarant earlier today. However, this was never confirmed. -
My fave armor abilities: 1) Armor lock 2) Drop shield 3) Hologram

Rockets look to add another big to play behind Yao

Ditto although Fesenko wouldn't be a bad project big to have. The minutes with Damp in the lineup would be split as so: Yao (24) / Dampier (12) / Miller (12) Not bad but I don't why Dampier would choose us over Miami. Hate to see Chuck go back to the IR after playing so hard as a starter last year too and why did we invest $15+ million in Brad if he wasn't going to be playing 20 minutes a night? -
Rockets look to add another big to play behind Yao

Following up with this report of limiting Yao's minutes come a few more about the possibility of adding another big man to play 10-15+ minutes behind the big fella. Reportedly been interested in both Dampier and Jazz restricted FA Fesenko. http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/11838893/24605072 http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7202878.html -
Yao Ming will only play 24 minutes a game
Dash replied to magicbalala245's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Report is not entirely true. Per Morey from the Chronicle: Perfectly fine with this decision if its only for the first couple of months. -
Looks like there is definite interest on his side. Read more: http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/69113/20100914/dampier_could_land_in_miami/#ixzz0zYocumx3 Would be a solid signing for Miami, Damp and Z can split the minutes at the 5.

Played about an hour of it before heading to college for class. Great game but it didn't exactly 'wow' me yet, might be because I'm still tired from my lack of sleep last night or I'm just getting [expletive]ty games. Playing campaign in a few, heard a lot of good things about it.

I only listened to the catalyst and that alone just ruined the whole album for me. Do not want to listen to more.

Houston is in a very peculiar position heading into the season. Yao Ming has been out of the lineup for the past year and there are many things uncertain with him, Kevin Martin was recently acquired and still was adjusting to the team when the season ended, Aaron Brooks was Houston's leading scorer for most of the season, Luis Scola was our go-to-guy in the post and recently dominated in FIBA, and our primary option (Trevor Ariza) for half the season was just traded. So my question is how would you rank Houston's scoring options? My rankings: The focal points 1) Kevin Martin - one of the most efficient players in the league, despite being traded to a new team Martin thrived in Houston as opposed to Sacramento and led the team in points per game. The Princeton Offense is made to make things easier for shooters like Martin but with the only post up threat being Luis Scola, we were never able to see how he would fare with a legitimate frontcourt. Yao will be the focal point of the entire offense as he draws so much attention to himself but Martin will be the top scorer on the team. 2) Yao Ming - as I just stated above, Yao's main job will be to draw as much attention to himself as possible, which will lead to more opportunities for his teammates. However, it shouldn't be forgotten that Yao is still the most skilled center in the post. He'll get plenty of touches in the 25-30 minutes he's on the floor. 3) Aaron Brooks - like Martin, Brooks can certainly stroke it but he lacks the ability to drive in and force contact and with Yao back he won't be able to play freely as he did this past season. However, the moment Yao is on the bench its the Brooks/Martin show. Despite the fact that I'm listing him as the third option, expect him to get more shots than Martin when the game is on the line as he's proven to be more effective than Kevin in crunch time. Interesting situation here, it may not make a whole lot of sense but this is the way I see it. The closest comparison I can make is probably Chauncey Billups. Supporting cast 4) Luis Scola - very talented down low but unfortunately for Luis, he will have a reduced role with all the talented scorers on the team. Scola's main role will likely be to play off Yao much like he did back in 2008, and to get Houston buckets in the post when Yao is on the bench. 5) Chase Budinger - with the Ariza trade Chase will see a bigger role this season. Bud is excellent off screens and picks much like Martin. Another sharp shooter on the Rockets, expect a strong season from him.

Great third quarter for team USA, looks like we're starting to pull away.

Kevin Durant seems to be the only reason we're ahead right now.
