I requested Real Deal to pin this since this can go on for a very long time. :glasses:

Similar to the "What are you watching" thread, post what movie you saw last and give it a rating out of 10. You can throw in a short review if you would like. This was something that I did enjoy on another site, after a while it really gives people some good suggestions old and new.

Last movie I saw: In the Line of Fire 8/10

I am a big Clint Eastwood fan and this political thriller was very entertaining. John Malkovich plays a creepy villain that want's to kill the President. Eastwood is a veteran secret service agent who could not protect Kennedy from being assasinated so his new goal is to not let two President die during his time. Not my favorite Eastwood movie but a good one if you are into political thrillers.

Public Sex was I movie my wife and I watched the night of 1/1/11 on that Sundance network and I guess it was decent. It's an Indie film (of course), and if you're not into those type of films you may not be moved. However, the title of the movie is far from misleading.

The movie had potential, but it's premise was introducing the world to the London culture of "dogging", or public sex. It was more funny than being borderline porn, but the plot was almost as absent as your typical XXX film. Decent cinematography if you've never visited London, and you may want to put the captioning on; the accents were truly genuine.

I couldn't locate the movie art for it, but I did manage to get this link of the trailer.

My overall rating:

3.5/10

I liked that movie a lot, htown!

I saw Despicable Me the other day, was a very fun movie. 9/10. Lots of laughs, feel good, great cast.

Ya I liked it a lot, couldn't believe I hadn't seen it already but they were streaming it on NetFlix.

I still haven't seen Despicable Me it looks hilarious though.

One of the dumbest movies i've seen in a while. The only reason i bothered to watch it is because Brendan Fraser is starring in it.. why the hell did he agree to do that?

2/10. Don't recommend it to anybody unless you're a 3 old.

Tron 2D

It felt rushed. Also lacked drama. The action scenes were entertaining but weren't that suspenseful. There was no point in the movie where I thought everything was on the line. The Tron city was pretty cool but at the same time very subtle. The visuals would probably be better in 3D.

Needed more Olivia Wilde. She was the only character that I thought the audience would be able to attach to. She needed more development. I believe they were trying to use her as comedic relief, but her jokes were dull. The reason that I think audience could attach to her is because her jokes were dull but at the same time could've made her charming.

- 6.5/10

7/10

I really enjoyed this movie from Clint Eastwood. Far from his best acting or directing but the cast makes the movie. The acting is fantastic it features Clint, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherland, and James Garner.

The plot and story is far from great and it is a bit far fetched but the acting makes up for everything. Fun movie if you are into the veteran actors mixing comedy and sci fi space adventure. The original cast was suppose to have Jack Nicholson and Sean Connery which might have taken this movie to another level but that did not happen. Still a formidable group of oldies who want to go up into space (something they have been waiting to do for 40 years) to fix a Russian satellite, obviously a twist arises once they get into space but the interaction between these four guys at NASA is classic.

Well I rewatched all the Coen Brothers movies during the two weeks holydays that I had (which sadly ended on Sunday), so the last movie I saw was the last Coen movie, A Serious Man (True Grit hasn't been released here yet, I can't wait till February...), I haven't had time to watch a movie since.

It was the second time I watched it and I liked him even more than the first time. Not my favorite Coen though but still a terrific one (I like all their movies anyhow) so I give it a 9/10.

Drive Thru. It was a crappy movie for a horror film, however; if you watch it as a comedy it is pure gold! If you want a few laughs out of a horror film, go buy this at walmart for $5.

i saw this movie lol, the acting was soooooo horrible, in the beginning those fake thug white guys were so annoying lol.

^ Rush Hour never gets old.

The Terminal 8/10

I think this movie is highly underrated. The ending is what really limits the movies greatness but Tom Hanks is one of the few actors that can keep you entertained in a very simplistic setting. Like Cast Away, Tom Hanks plays Viktor Navorski a man on his first trip to America. Like any normal tourist he is looking for "the Nike shoes and Broadway musicals in the big apple." Instead he gets stuck because his country is under a milatary coup and he is basically a resident of nowhere. He is as they say "unacceptable" so until all that is squared away he is in the friendly confines of the International Transit Lounge at JFK.

Terminals are nice now days for a while, but hell eventually you want to get on your next flight and go home. Hanks owns the role and Stanley Tucci plays the villain trying to catch Hanks commit a crime by stepping out into the city. Instead he makes friends in the terminal and basically that becomes his home. Great movie directed by Steven Spielberg, lighthearted enjoyment.

Restrepo 10/10

Brilliant documentary that follows one platoon in the deadliest valley in Afghanistan. For those that have NetFlix they are streaming this instantly don't miss out on it.

W. 7/10

I enjoyed certain parts of this movie but I think it's far from Oliver Stones best. Interesting misunderstood life that some may not know about W. but I felt like it had the potential to be great and never actually reached it. They shot the entire movie in about 45 days and you could definitely tell it was a bit rushed. Brolin plays W. really well but Thandie Newton makes Condoleezza Rice's character unbearable and Jeffrey Wright is decent as Colin Powell (portrayed as the only sane man in the movie.) My favorite performance was by Richard Dreyfuss who plays Dick Cheney the out of control villain who basically makes decisions for W lol.
