thinking about going to law school after undergrad. shit is gonna be rough.

I have three friends that all went to law school (maybe others, but three that I talk to every now and then), and I can tell you that, once you walk in, you have to be thinking about the bar exam immediately. Everything you do is for the bar, and it's incredibly tough. Long hours, too...not just to study for the bar, but to just keep your head above water and, well, into the books and all of the cases and laws you'll be going through.

One girl I know went to Notre Dame for Philosophy, then over to Villanova for Law, and she's preparing for the bar right now...keeps talking about crunch time, how everything else is out the window, social life is absent at this time, lol...sounds super fun.

Crazy stuff, but it's not like it's an impossible feat, either. I'm sure you can do it, as long as you're dedicated. Good luck with everything, if you decide to go that route.

Damn me. Neighbors dog is in my yard again, I have to workout, my brother has an engagement party at my house tomorrow so I have to wait for the guys to bring the tables, and I have to wait for the lady to bring the flowers, and I have to give everyone the correct amount of money. One way or another, I am going to screw something up today.

Need some advice regarding my college schedule. I am taking four classes and thought it would be nice to only have to go on Tuesday and Thursday.

Here's what my schedule for Tuesday and Thursday will look like:

KSU 1111 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM

MATH 1111 12:30 PM - 01:45 PM

Work 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM (I think)

ENGL 1101 06:30 PM - 07:45 PM

HIST 2112 08:00 PM - 09:15 PM

Has any else taking all their classes in one day like this? If so, how did it work out?

Well its nice, but those two days are going to blow and you are going to have to do it for a few months so you will quickly get tired of it . You will probably have so much HW on your days off that it won't matter too much. 4 classes isn't too bad though.

are you still doing journalism/broadcasting?

Yeah, I am at UGA now getting my undergrad in Broadcast News. It doesn't matter what your undergrad is to get into law school, just got to have a ballin' lsat score and gpa.

Cobb, I did all my classes Mon and Wed when I was at GPC and loved it. That break blows though trust me, and your going to go to work then come back to KSU? I dont know if I would recommend it but hey it's you. Are you living on campus up there? Nice start time at 11 though.

Not living on campus and I probably will be working. My job is extremely laid back/easy though.

Women drivers are stupid. I was driving around college trying to get to class, so I get to the round about. Where accidents are bound to happen, so I look left, coast is clear, and some girl (she was hot so I forgive her) just comes driving into the round about from my right as if there was no stop at all, she didn't even see me and almost crashed into me from the side. Then I was driving out of the garage and some girl a few spots ahead was backing up, so I was nice and let her go, but it took her a good 30 second to get out of her spot. Then to top it off, i was driving home and I got to a part where there was only one lane because of construction. So some old lady switches lanes in front of me and decided to go about 15 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. So yea, all of this happened to me in the span of an hour or so.
