I just don't see how Boston trades pierce. just don't.

Derozan has averaged 6.25 APG his last 4 games. This is the most random stretch ever from him, there was no buildup to this lol... literally, his assist totals in the games prior were: 3, 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 1,2, 1, 0. His scoring has obviously dipped, but he's still shooting around 47%. Just kind of weird, he's only turned it over once each game too. Are we looking at an 18-4-4 player?!?!?

Meh, not great, but a Lowry-Derozan-Gay-Amir-Val core with Ross off the bench (him at the 2 is obviously a better fit than Demar but Demar plays due to his bloated deal) and Bargs too (if not amnestied) is at least pretty intriguing, and easily the best team on paper the Raps have had. Losing Davis would suck, he's been my favourite Raptor for a while, but at the same time I can't help but admit I am kind of intrigued by this team, especially with Ross at the 2. If we're giving anything more than Davis and Jose (and spare parts) then no thanks.

If you want Rock to win okay, but like that? A spinebuster and people's elbow? mehh.

I would be shocked if he was moved. Colangelo isn't super attached to Jose as everyone is led to believe - in fact, Lowe suggested in a Grantland article that it is sort of Casey-Colangelo debating over the two. Obviously part speculation, but makes sense. Also, think of how many times Colangelo has tried to replace Jose in the past 3 years. Lowry is our best player, and has done everything that has been asked of him this year, despite being ridiculously replaced after being hurt. He is easily our best player this minute, and to trade him now would be trading him for 50 cents on the dollar after how he's been used this year. I can't wait to see the horrific 3 year 21 million dollar extension we give Jose this summer.

he's proven he can be a franchise player (legit mvp candidate his last year in toronto) by averaging 22 and 10 year in year out. he was in the playoff mix with a supporting cast that probably would have won no more than 18 games on their own. his absence last year in the playoffs also showed his worth to that miami team, and he easily could be a number 2 option on a contender. idk if he is a hall of famer, but he is definitely one of the most underrated players of our generation.

The simmons-lowe email exchange on Grantland is another decent read regarding LA. it comes down to D'Antoni. Accountability is non-existent on both ends of the floor, Pau gasol has been relegated to being big Z on offense, and Kobe's constant cheating on defense is setting the tone for the rest of the team. Simmons said something along the lines that there are 2 types of coaches; ones that look at their players, and develop a system that suits them, and others who look at their players and force their players to play in their system. Obviously D"Antoni is the 2nd one. I can't help but wonder what a coach like Van Gundy would be able to do in LA, where you know there would be accountability on both ends of the floor, which i honestly think is one of the biggest, if not the biggest problems in LA right now. In terms of just pure scoring, where does he rank all time? I'm genuinely curious because I definitely don't consider myself a historian of the game, but I find it hard to believe there are many, if any, players that have been harder to defend from a pure scoring standpoint. Ranks right there with Dirk in terms of being practically unguardable.

Connolly on waivers. Pretty surprised honestly. I think he was really misused last year, was solid in the first 30 games (when we were winning). Then got hurt, struggled, and got put in 3rd/4th line roles. Oh well, just ensures Kadri (YESSSSSSSSS) is 99% going to have a spot on this team.

So I got 4 tickets from my cousin, but I have 5 of us who i wanna go with. We're thinking of going to the game, the 5 of us, and hitting up a scalper. My only concern is that these are the print off tickets, that you get from email, do you think scalpers will take those in a trade up type deal? I've traded 2 tickets for 3 (paid a bit more too obviously), but the tickets we had are normal tickets. Any help is appreciated!

don't see what they could be offering. i've been sort of on the fence about gay, but honestly if they say give us Jose and Ross for him I think I say yes. Not sure that's enough, but what could PHX be offering that is better?
