  1. Derozan must lead the league in "ball squirting out of hands flying into the stands while driving to the hoop" per game.
  2. I don't know where you'd get the numbers, but I'm sure if you looked it up, a Pau Gasol post up is probably a historically much more productive play than a Dwight Howard post up, both individually and as a team. Saying there isn't room for pau is a gigantic cop out, especially since Pau doesn't need exclusively the low block to be effective.
  3. How can you sit here and say that when they have been so brutal without him too? So ignorant, especially when the Lakers as a team are statistically better with him on the floor opposed to off, Dude is a bigger scapegoat than Odom was 10 fold. It is on D'Antoni to utilize him better, and for Pau to meet him halfway. Not saying Pau is without blame, but holy [expletive] some people act like he is Andrea Bargnani... he's shooting 42%... a big reason is because he is Zydrunas Ilgauskas on offense right now... it pretty much eliminates all the positives he brings to the table, especially since he is the team's 2nd best passer. His effort level needs to be higher, but lets not act like this is an addition by subtraction situation, they are better with him than without him right now.
  4. Get Pau in the post. That's all i needed to hear. Thank you Kobe.
  5. I was just about to post that, because i had an argument with a Rocket fan over him not being as good as they thought last year. I too am okay with the trade still, because i am nearly positive that pick that pick isn't going to be much higher than last year, in a draft that is supposed to be worse. I think most of Lowry's negatives are between his ears, and I doubt we are drafting a player that winds up as good/better at 6 or so (which is where I'd guess we end up). He's been disappointing, but that's not because he has been brutal (well at least in those first few games he wasn't), but because maybe my expectations were too high after having the matador at the helm all these years. I hate to sound like colangelo, but the schedule is going to turn around, and when other teams tank, we will win meaningless games like last year, and wind up in that 5-7 range. I still think we walk away the winners in that trade.
  6. Kobe is the last thing that is wrong with this team right now, and that is coming from someone who loves to find excuses to call out his shot selection. The issues with this team run a lot deeper than Kobe Bryant.
  7. Everyone wants him gone except for Colangelo. Players are getting visibly frustrated with him ON CAMERA, I can only imagine the shit that we don't see. Also, despite Lowry's nice numbers, he has been pretty big disappointment. His attitude, shot selection, defense, screen and role play (offensively) and lack of kickouts to shooters (though our 'shooters' may have something to do with this... Lowry just seems indecisive when he gets to the mid range off of a screen) has been a huge letdown. He was supposed to make our offense more dynamic this year, and improve our perimeter defense, neither has happened. I guess his injury can have something to do with it, but just the way he plays, idk there's something about it I just don't like. Hopefully he can sway me the other way. I guess maybe I was expected a TJ Ford type on offense (with the drive and kicks), and its my own fault for that expectation. I hope coach got some licks in that meeting too. His work has been pathetic so far this year, but I can't help but feel like a lot of his decisions are with someone in his ear (BARGNANI???).
  8. The Raps pick has to be in the deal, then this is a deal that I just don't know how it doesn't get done. That Raps pick isn't going to stay where it is, and surely Presti realizes that. And even if it does, this draft sucks. AV doesn't guarantee OKC anything, but he definitely moves them a huge step closer. Also, he's locked in on a bargain contract and brings a ton to the table without any maintenance (running plays for him).
  9. Came in here to post the exact same thing. They have no business being where they are right now. Also, Redick is awesome. I hope a contender comes and offers Orlando 2 firsts or a first and a prospect to get him - so worth it.
  10. This guy is so gone after this contract. I don't know if I feel sorry for Minnesota or not. They've done some good things but a lot of brutal things, probably more brutal things. I doubt he is even remotely on the trading block though. Then again I wouldn't put anything past Kahn.
  11. All I know is that just about every time I watch the Heat play (admittedly not as much as i would like) I want to strangle Wade. You know he is gonna turn it up in the playoffs (defensively), but it's still frustrating to watch, and I'm not even close to being a Heat fan. Guy is 30 years old and is already suffering from Kobe syndrome on defense (locks down when he feels like it or is challenged).
  12. Stat ON Court OFF Court Net Minutes 351 666 34% Offense: Pts per 100 Poss. 109.5 99.2 10.3 Defense: Pts per 100 Poss. 109.8 110.1 -0.4 Net Points per 100 Possessions -0.3 -10.9 10.6 I see a player who is a big plus here in his limited time.
  13. At least Gasol is capable of giving you a lot of pluses in spite of him being soft, Bargnani brings almost nothing to the table if that 3 point shot isn't falling - and even at his best, he is a pretty mediocre 3 point shooter. If you don't do a lot of things decent, you better do at least one or two things terrifically - at least Pau can do a bunch of things decently at this point in his career, bargnani brings nothing to the table. He's one of those guys that needs the offense run through him, but he sucks too much to justify it ala Michael beasley. Love the Jamison pick, those stupid little flip shots are ridiculous. There's a line between finesse and avoiding contact. Glad that the Bosh softness talk is gone - it was so ridiculous all along honestly. Calling him soft is like calling Durant soft. But yeah, this list begins and ends with that Italian son of a bitch.
  14. ain't got nothing on Shaun Livingston or Jorge Garbosa.
  15. As long as Kleiza isn't running post ups, I like having his shooting on the floor.
  16. Kleiza and Lowry, two straight positions, visibly frustrated with Bargnani it seems like. Its getting hilarious.
  17. Not playing like they like each other? I wonder who it is that they don't like... Hmm...
  18. He's [expletive]ing delusional and stubborn - how can you sit and act like there isn't a single place on this roster that needs to be addressed? This guy is the ultimate spin doctor. Wow.
  19. Lol, basically saying a lot of Bargnani's struggles are a result of the team's struggles... think you've got those variables the wrong way Brian. Did you catch what was said there right before the break that got Devlin all excited?
  20. Kleiza is such an idiot. Also I hope Jonas personally thanks Bargs for his 2nd personal foul. Please Bargs just watch him try and poserize him.
  21. http://firebc.com/ Support the cause!
  22. This has reached '[expletive]ing pathetic' territory.
