  1. Not bad for Charlotte. Their main goal should be putting a competitive team on the floor next season. By competitive I mean watchable. I think Gordon can help.
  2. Yeah that shit is dumb easy. last semester i took two online classes. the one was pschyology which was layed out easily by the professor. got an A in that one by logging on twice a week for 20 minutes each time. the other was intro to news writing, which was kind of cool since i'm considering journalism as my major. it wasn't layed out as easily, and the shit got kind of confusing, i thought i was [expletive]ed at one point, but still ended up with a B...showed how damn easy that blackboard shit is
  3. That's fine. As long as we get him back I'll be happy. If we return with Lin, Novak, and Smith...I think that's our best option. Nash would be nice, same with Ray Allen, but both are extremely unrealistic IMO.
  4. Yeah , I agree. I have no confidence in Felton at all at this stage in his career. He's been pretty inconsistent since he left NY...Kidd or Nash would absolutely be great...Crawford, don't think he'd do us much. Although, I guess he's an upgrade at SG over Fields. And Grant Hill, eh, he's really a risk at this stage of his career. Allen would be interesting with the Knicks. He may be worth bringing in just for his veteran presence and leadership qualties after playing Boston. He may be able to get Melo/Amar'e to work together better... Plus, on the court Allen still does have something to offer, and he'd start, which I'm sure he wants to do at this point in his career.
  5. Pierce without Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett didn't do anything, anywhere, either... It's still Pierce though. Pierce, IMO, has always been a very underrated player. He isn't flashy at all, but he seems to always hit a big shot when the Celtics need him to. He's also been an underrated defensive player, and plus, he's won a Championship, so that's obviously a huge plus in Pierce's favor when comparing the two. Carmelo still has a chance to go down as one of the best ever...his only problem is somewhat similar to LeBron's...his playoff success. If Carmelo can put 2-3 years together where they make strong playoff pushes, or hell, maybe one year ACTUALLY win a NBA Finals, I think he's right up there with some of the best players to ever play the game, at least at his position.
  6. Agreed with everything above. SMFH at people saying you don't do this during the game? Why? the game was clearly over at this point...the teams took their stars out with like 3 or 4 minutes left!
  7. Hopefully doesn't get overturned. Knicks need Lin/Novak next year to be any good...Knicks lacked many three point shooters (Fields, Shumpert, Smith so inconsistent on their shooting)
  8. Lol at Elton Brand. I actually didn't even know Brand was a number one overall pick. Why on Earth would anyone ever take him #1? He'd be a great pick at like #10...but #1? SMFH!
  9. He also said he had a victory party planned for when they beat the Giants. http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/400x/21749447.jpg
  10. That's cool Carolina got two Staal's now. Lol Can't wait to go to some Carolina - NYR games this upcoming season. Arena is 15 minutes from my house, and free tix (hopefully)! :glasses:
  11. I agree for the most part with Simba. Good post. I think he did a fine job, I mean they won the title. Pat Riley seems to think highly of him. I just don't really care for his personality, that's all. His press conferences are clown city with his stupid lingo, and his interviews blow. He tries to act like a big shot (like Riley, Phil Jackson, etc.), and he's not...
  12. If it came down to JR Smith or Steve Nash, I actually think Smith is more valuable. But it's tough to say...Only reason I say that is because Nash is 38, and he's going to slow down eventually. Plus, with Shumpert out, we'd really be limited athletically, especially in the backcourt.
  13. He out coached Brooks, but hard to give Spoelstra much credit. I'm sorry. LeBron James, D-Wade, and Bosh? I'm confident I could get the job done.
  14. [expletive] Battier, he lame as [expletive]
  15. Word. I treid listening to Stalley's mixtape, and it was boring as [expletive]. But his features are a nice touch on this.
  16. That was pretty funny...Skip Bayless really is an idiot for the most part. http://i.qkme.me/35918k.jpg
  17. Agreed. Brooks, although I thought he was outcoached in this past series, has an impressive resume with this young Thunder team. I don't see the contract talks faltering.
  18. I saw a few homeless people (or at least they claim...I've seen [expletive]as in a lot worse shape than these muh fuggas) today on the streets in Raleigh. Smh, I bet some of these guys make more money per hour than me!
  19. Exactly. The inability to keep him out of the paint and protect the basket was the ultimate killer for the Thunder. You make James a jump shooter, you have to like your chances. Really, it came down to defense, and the Thunder just didn't play enough of it to win this series.
  20. Haha, that's pretty damn funny. Skip Bayless is such a clown can't believe people watch the show. I can only watch if Stephen A is on
  21. WOW. Great news! Any chance Nash could sign for MLE?? probably not, right???
