  1. Bush's policies and decision making did make an impact on our current economic state. However, Americans don't want to hear Obama continually blame Bush for the current economic problems in 2012. Although Obama can't really do anything about it, the economy has improved since he took office and his policies came into effect. It's getting better, it's not nearly enough, but I've seen enough progress to vote for Obama to be re-elected. I actually think Obama has been more of a moderate than I was expecting (which is why I laugh at the socialist claims), but I think he's done an alright job.
  2. Exactly, good post. The key, like you said, is for OKC to use it's depth and talent other than the big three. Where these teams differ is clearly outside of the Big Three's, because Miami's core of LBJ, Wade, and Bosh is going to be better most nights IMO than Durant, Westbrook, and Harden. OKC can only win if guys like Ibaka, Collison, and Sefolosha play well.
  3. Lol, exactly. I'm sick of Mike Breen & the media blowing him. Credit him for hitting wide open shots, but let's stop acting like he's been great. He disappeared in the 4th qtr in game 1, and he's never even guarded. That shot he hit last night late in the 4th that he banked in was pure luck lol.
  4. Glad to see the Yankees are back to playing well. Red Sox continue to struggle! :glasses:
  5. LeBron can not be faulted for leaving Cleveland. He had every right to. When Antwan Jamison was his best running mate in his final year, you have a problem...The manner he went about it was wrong, and it's cost him his public image (amongst several other things...) Regardless, it's still LeBron. He makes his teammates better, a far superior passer, and a far superior defender. Durant is a better "scorer", but outside of scoring he doesn't do anything better, and there's more to the game than that.
  6. I'd gladly swap Landry Fields for him. I agree with RD, a change of scenery would probably really help him. He'll play better once he is in the final year of his contract, too, I'm sure.
  7. That's actually really interesting. Not sure if OKC can afford to keep Harden in the future, so they may consider it, although I'm sure it'd be tough to find anyone who will be as good as Harden. He's turned out to be a damn good player.
  8. Spoelstra's probably the biggest reason I'm rooting for OKC. Cannot stand this clown.
  9. Lol, My dad and I were going nuts too...but KD still should've made that! It was a five foot floater! Lol
  10. Can't believe that wasn't called on LeBron. Well, I can believe it, but it was a clear foul...a few times during the sequence actually. Either way, KD should've finished that and knowing how humble he is, he'd probably say that, too. We have a great series, and as I am saying, sticking to Heat in 6. Still think they'll end up on top...OKC just has got to start better, especially on the road...
  11. Lmao. Good point...That's why what Jordan was able to do was incredible.
  12. Wade deserves most of the blame, some on Spoelstra as well (if a coach gets credit for winning he deserves some blame for losing, too). Also the role players have to step up, Mike Miller should be able to hit an open shot, or else he shouldn't play. I still think Miami will win the series, so I'm not hitting the panic button just yet for Miami.
  13. i see what lkr is saying. some of the renditions are just terrible then again i don't really mind it before sporting events
  14. Yeah, basically sums it up. I think the Heat will get it done tonight.
  15. Durant was great last night but I don't even understand the comment from Bayless. They are two completely different players...
  16. He missed a few shots near the hoop he generally makes. He also literally missed everything pretty much in the 2nd half from 15-20 feet... LeBron had a mediocre game, I expect him to be much better next game and fully expect Miami to take this next one.
  17. I know, I gotcha. I get pissed too with the Knicks. I was basically calling you a front runner because you were saying how much you hate Wade right now...but when he plays well next game you'll love him.
  18. Just having fun...your comment was pretty hilarious.
  19. Great game, really enjoyed it. Hopefully Thursday is just as exciting. Still think Miami wins in 6. Although, OKC really looked good tonight, especially the 2nd half. The biggest difference between LeBron and Durant at the end of games/4th quarter is the ability of Durant to hit the outside jumper/three pointer. It's that simple. LeBron is just not near the shooter Durant is. You can always get a 17-20 footer in the 4th quarter. Can't always get those running layups when the refs start to swallow their whistle a bit.
  20. Man, I can't picture Jerry Sloan taking this job. He's setting himself up for failure. Even a guy like Brian Shaw who's looking to make a name for himself as a Head Coach in the NBA...this job could certainly make or break him (at least for the next few years)... Although, I doubt you could do any worse than this last season...
