Yeah Blake Griffin is alright. He has a lot of things he needs to improve (FT shooting, his jumper, his overall defense...) Kevin Love is absolutely a better basketball player. No doubt. Zach Randolph never gets any love (no pun intended lolol)...but he's one of the best PF's in the league, too. Just figured I'd throw his name out there. That [expletive]a goes hard in the paint!!!

This will be a tough series for OKC but think about this: The Spurs have swept the Jazz and Clippers to start the playoffs. Very impressive. No doubt about it. But the Thunder have lost just one game against Dallas and the Lakers. That's just as impressive, or more impressive IMO. I say Thunder in 7. I think the star power of Durant and Westbrook and the youth, athletic defense of Ibaka and Sefolosha will ultimately be the difference. We really have two great C.F. this year. And the finals will be great to watch too, no matter what the matchup is.

This is a great series to watch IMO. First off, I hate both franchises, but I admire how Boston plays. I love watching Rondo play, Doc Rivers is one of the best coaches of my generation IMO, and Pierce/Allen/Garnett are legends of my era. This will probably be their last chance to win a title (if you think they still have a legitimate chance to beat MIA or OKC/SA)... As for the Heat, I never root for them, but let's be honest watching Wade/Bron/Bosh(?) is going to be fun against Boston's coaching and defensive schemes. How Miami defends Rondo will be very interesting...if they even can. I say Miami in 6, but each game will go down to the wire.

Yup. Knicks worked out Darius Johnson-Odom the other day. I would love to see them draft him.

Agreed. It had to take a toll. The Devils had so many "surges" (as the announcers were calling them) where they'd just pass the puck around in the offensive zone, as if they were on a power play. Rangers just couldn't get the puck out any many times it ended up costing them. Lundqvist gave up far more rebounds this series than the last two...maybe even combine. Fatigue? Maybe. It was also a case of the Devils outplaying the Rangers though, too.

Oh yeah well the majority of my life they've been pretty bad lol. Growing up my friends always gave me shit living in NJ and being a Rangers fan. I was the only Rangers fan I knew growing up actually now that I think about it They definitely have talent and a lot of good young players. But I won't retract my statement that I think they are far from being GREAT. If they had a Parise/Nash maybe that'd change some things for my outlook, but I still think that until the become more explosive it's hard to tell how good they are...because the Devils were definitely the better team in this series.

Agreed. But as far as Henrik... the difficulty of saves went way up the last three games. Actually, even in game 3 that the Rangers won, Lundqvist was borderline lucky to be honest... The Rangers started putting their defenseman up because they just couldn't generate enough offense, leading to more 2 on 1's and 3 on 2's, forcing a lot tougher saves for Lundqvist. In the Caps series the Rangers got out to a lead several times and were able to play their conservative style. It was a fun year to watch them, didn't watch them too much during the regular season to be honest, only about 20-30 games out of the 82...but they were definitely good all year but they are still far from a great team. They could use some more scoring, and I think Kreider could bring that in more ice time and now some experience under his belt.

That'd be sweet. I still believe. Lundqvist was the worst he's been all playoffs in game 5. Not sure if he was sick, or just had a bad game. If Lundqvist bounces back I'm confident the Rangers can score 2-3 goals.

Why ya'll think I was laughing at the "trade Dwade thread" after game 3... D Wade is a beast easily a top 5 player in the league how could you all want to trade him? lmfao
-
that is epic! lmfao!!

I guess. There is absolutely a certain amount of respect given from the players and a certain standard they are held to when a legendary coach like Phil Jackson or an all-time coach like Sloan is the Head coach. Idk...I thought Woodson did a great job and he's the right man for the job. Don't see Jackson being at all interested in the Knicks position, and I don't really see Sloan wanting to take it on either.
-
I'm content with Woodson.

Shaq interviewing for vacant Magic GM position

and coaches too... NBA is the only sport where you can have virtually zero experience and become a head coach...Mark Jackson? I ROFL when i saw that clown hired -
Fair enough. Just seemed like once they got the goal they changed their approach. I dunno
-
could u imagine philly vs. indy for the ECF...talk about awful ratings.
-
Well they fought back and got it to 3-3...i was hoping they'd continue to play the style that got them back into it which was so much more agressive. they got very few chances after they tied the score. they looked so content going to OT. Maybe they were exhausted (would be reasonable)...I really don't know if it was a tactical thing or a fatigue issue but the momentum started to swing back to new jersey after the 10 min mark

lmfao. if they ever hired Shaq lolololol -
Rangers lose 5-3. Played really great following the 3rd goal for NJ. Then mid way thru the 3rd period, they were either really tired or changed their approach to more conservative, and it absolutely backfired either way... I'm not confident going into game six Friday, but wouldn't say I'd be shocked if they won in NJ.

who cares what pittman got. hes a bum.

If the Nets land the first pick in the draft...

this ain't even fair...when wade n lebron play like this game over

This has been the most entertaining series to watch from a neutral fan perspective. don't really care who wins, as i like watching lbj and wade play, although i hate the heat in general lol...if that makes any sense
