Stephen Curry to be a bust?!? I seriously doubt that, especially seeing how his dad (a similar player) made a pretty great career for himself. And to see DeRozan and Jennings having a less chance of being a bust than Curry? Sorry man, I strongly disagree with that.

Just because his dad played in the league with success doesnt mean that he'll do the same. He can shot the ball there is no question about it, but he way to streaky for me. If you watched some of his games you would know what I'm talking about. As for his defense is concerned he is below average; imo he doesnt have the size to match up to some of the bigger guards in the NBA. He is a decent ball handler not special. I think people are overhyping him to much.

Could end up having similar issues like JJ Redick.

Curry is more of an all-around scorer/finisher than JJ, who could just shoot. Maybe people have different expectations for Steph than i do, but I don't expect him to be an all-star or anything. Guys like DeRozan and Jennings seem to be getting so much hype/potential (see: Gerald Green/Martell Webster), whereas Curry is already proven at various college levels and if he can score, he can score. The defenders may be different, but the game isn't.

No, not an all-star any time soon, I see him having more of a Daniel Gibson type of rookie year. The only thing is, everyone knows Curry can shoot, he's got so much hype around it and the defenders aren't just different, they're a whole lot better and he's coming in with pre-registered hype and pressure. Regardless of if he becomes the player people are saying he'll be or if he's a "bust" I think he won't have a great first year and he'll struggle at first.

The NBA game is totally different then the Southern Conference in the NCAA. There are no polished defenders that are ever going to carve a NBA career from that conference. Curry is too frail to slash, drive or penetrate in the NBA, he's going to get eaten alive by even decent defenders.

Don't like the disrespecting of Curry. Dick V shares my opinion that Curry is clearly the 2nd best player in the draft. This talk about his body is getting ridiculous. Too many times have short/skinny guards got knocked on while coming into the league, only to then prove everyone wrong.

One dimensional in what way? The kid isn't just a shooter offensively. He can handle the ball, is a decent passer, can slash and he doesn't even need the rock to get his. He is excellent on and off the ball. I'm afraid that the Warriors might ruin his career, the kid has potential for days IMO. He would have been better served playing with Antoni and the Knicks

I took Blake off a 10 just because no one thinks he could even possibly be a bust...so that would mean he has to achieve greatness not to be considered a bust. Hasheem Thabeet definately may never develop, but he could also be a dominant interior force. He could be boom or bust. I think Evans will actually end up being right up there with Griffin as the best from this draft class five years down the road.

Top 5 players from this draft (just the top 10) in five years:

1. Griffin

2. Evans

3. Thabeet

4. Harden

5. Rubio

How could you say Thabeet will be top 5 player in 5 years when you have him as #1 bust?

He's either going to be great, or flat out awful. I think he will be more towards the great size. Seeing him play in person made me a believer.

High risk, high reward...

Exactly. He will either really succeed, or fall flat on his face.

I don't understand why a lot of people have Thabeet as a bust.
