I messed that one up. I should have said the difference isn't as massive as people think it is. The difference isn't nearly as big between the two sports as the difference between the NBA and MLB and the MLB and the NFL. It's actually embarrassing that the difference is not much larger between the NBA and the NHL. The NBA needs to get their act together.

 

I want the NBA to succeed, but it's pretty odd that they aren't doing much better than they are compared to the NHL when you consider that the NBA has a large influence in China, the rest of Asia, and Africa, places the NHL does not.

No, not really. If you wanted to compare market ratings, that is something you have to specify. It isn't surprising seeing as the Bruins are a bigger deal than the Celtics in Boston. Just like it wouldn't be surprising if the Lakers outdrew the Kings for NBA Finals vs Stanley Cup finals in LA

That's fine, and it would have taken you all of half a second to realize that I'm not going to say something about the ratings and be off by 500%+.

 

Anyways, I still don't understand how the NBA isn't much further ahead then the NHL. Yes, $1 bil is a big difference numerically, but percentage wise compared with the revenue of the other major sports, it's not that large of a difference. I think it should be much larger, especially with the market the NBA has.

Yeah so she locked me in a room at like 10 30 then held me against a wall. Left, then came back with her friend at like 1, I got done pissing and open the bathroom door and her friend and her bum rush me in the bath room. she slaps me, then i go buck wild, telling her that we are [expletive]ing done, blah blah blah... theirs like 20 people at the house and they are all banging on the door but she wont open it. finally i told her to open the [expletive]ing door and she did then we get in the hallway and i get a 1-2 combo to the chest until my buddy gets her in a bear hug. [expletive]ing hate that slut.

 

and i totally feel you on the wishing she was a man, because my adrenaline was rushing and i would have probably killed him.

I was not meant to sleep last night. At 1 AM I went to sleep, then at 2 AM my front door neighbors decided to start a party, blasting music and they were drunk off their asses. I could hear their conversations and they were screaming as if it was the afternoon, they must have all died in car accidents on their way home. Then at like 4 AM it started to rain like crazy, like a damn hurricane outside and just as I was falling asleep a huge ass bolt of lightning must have hit right outside my window because it was crazy bright followed by the loudest thunder I have ever heard. So then of course my dog goes crazy and starts barking, and my car alarm gets set off so I have to wake up to go shut it off in the rain. On top of that I go outside to find my neighbors dog ran away again and was soaking wet. So I had to take him inside until morning and I got no sleep at all.

High thoughts with Kyle

The fifth of july 2011. I had to drive home today and I did the small lol ya right small bowl of weed by myself. Had a lot more than I thought. But man I feel good. So ya some thoughts. What if like the galaxy was just like the play set of a little girl. Like we have no clue if were as big as we think. We could be just a toy. And she can watch us. Like with a huge microscope. Hell she can go through time to see whatever she wants. We have no clue if thats true. Like what is life? Look at youreslf. We look like aliens. The 2 eyes? Clearly stare into what you look like. Hair? Why are we symmetrical? Why do we find others like this attractive? What makes them attractive? How we walk. Think about everything youve done in a constant basis throughout your life. How you just look into the empty cup of milk after youve finished drinking it. How you look when youre swinging a bat. How youve seen htat so many times and no matter what it always looks the same. How you open a door, shake a hand. All events that could go differently but never do. Of course theres always small alterations but it's all relatively the same. And it'll be like that until you die. You thin about how often youve seen the empty cup but its just the beginning. I've lived through 1/6th of my life. It's sad to think about how much more I have, while at the same time how quickly this has gone. It's very contradicting. I remember wehen I was 8 and I felt sad because like 10% of my life was already gone, and I felt sad that like I hadn't done anything exciting or that changed the world, that I've been wasting it. But from the first 10% to the next 20% so many things have changed. It's [expletive]ing crazy. Snow patrol ran out. But I typed like half a page just on that one song, spilling my thoughts. Alright jammin to some skynyrd. Today while driving home I had like a flashback of when I was you know like 5 or so and the parents duggg queen. I love the music I listen to today because it brings me back to my childhood or something. I remember when the toy store was on that corner in the mall where the sleep store is. I remember when I was 4 and it's so weird to think like how i've grown. Like I question the purpose of life. Why are we here? I think it's difficult to find a purpose because nobody knows what happens when you die. It's impossible to think like whats gonna happen after you die? What was it like before you were born? Like i'm talking the timeline from before the birth of you happened. How youre existence just came to be. But before there was you, it was nothing. It's like that for when you die I assume. Just living your life, then bam. I truly think thats al that happens. No heaven, no hell, no purpose. Why do we have to have a purpose? Theres no rule book on life, or existence for that matter. Whats the purpose of a bird? Magnesium? Lava? Why do they HAVE to be in our life? If those things dont have a purpose, then what makes humans an exception? I dont see why this drug is illegal. What does it do? It kinda hurts your lungs after you cough. But you feel better in about a minute. Theres nobody killing anybody because of a high feeling. Drunken driving kills so many people, yet alcohol is legal to 21. who came up with those rules? Like why is the age of say 18 significantly more importan than 17? you cant smoke at age 17 and 364 days, but the next day you can? How can you make that decision one minute, and the minutebefore htat you couldn't? Is there a maturity line that I don't see? And out obsession with music. What about it makes it so appealing? How was there the first language? I mean the first sounds of life had to be some form of communication. How was it possible that we were able to sync what sounds we made to the items we meant it to correlate with? The first site of earth. Sight of earth. Whats that like? I'm talking the first evolutionary eye ball. What was that even on? A parasite or a type of fish? What would convince the fish itwas a good idea to walk on earth for the first time? It wasnt instinct. It was a trend setter. Why would it work of it had never before been tested? The first fish to live on land had no prior knowledge of what it'd be like to live in an airy environment. Did it just luck out and HAPPEN to be able to reproduce on land? Was it a malfunction baby? A defect? What are the odds that defect happened to be the one to first live on land? Think about lewis and clark right now. How when they explored this land, nothing was [expletive]ing there. No walmarts, no streets, no electrcitiy. Imagine the city you live in now, being completely whiped out. But not like nuclear weaponry shit. Like it's just grassland, desert, or whatever other biome you live in. Imagine new york. Huge sky scrapers everywehre, but just 500 years ago it was grasslands or plains or whatever. 500 years. Think about that. That's not long at all. On a global scale, 14.6 billion years, that's the quote unquote threshold. Then think about how 500 years, what a small fraction that is to 14.6 BILLION. But on a local timescale, 500 years is a long time. But back to what I call global, 500 years is not long ago at all. At least if you think about how far back we could go. 20,000 years? Yeah, that's a long time ago. Dinosaurs and shit, right? No. not even close. Dinosaurs lived 65 million years ago. That's a long [expletive]ing itme right? Again, global that shit. We could go back 500 million years, who knows what lived on this planet back then? A billion years ago. Was there even this planet? Is it possible that there was another human, or society for that matter? If we live in the year (for example) 14,600,002,011 – is it possible that there was a society long long ago on the year say like 6,000,000,000? There's no way we could know. 8 billion years ago, this planet didnt even exist. Not a lot of the universe did. But what if you know say 99 trillion light years away, there lived a society that we NEVEr knew about. Think about that 14.6 billion years. A lot can happen in that period of time. Now go back 500 years ago. When nothing in New york existed. Seems like a very short period of time. We had (relatively) nothing in say the 1600s, in terms of technology. So from the year say 0, to the year 14,600,001,600 – we didn't complete much. But in just 500 years we excelled so much. It's incredible to think like what that kind of potential that has. In 100 years? A lot, but at the exponential growth of that, what's it gonna look like in 100 years? Think about the growth from 1600 to 2000. Now think of that, but at an increased time scale. In 1000 years? We'll have every inch of land vovered. But whwat about after that? In 3000 years? We won't have space. Would we have more of the ocean mapped out? Could we utilize that at all? Will we have colonized a planet yet? Flown to other galaxies? What kinda galaxy map could we have, at the rate technology is advancing at? Live your life. You only get one. Go out, get a tattoo, pierce your whatever. I'd rather regret doing something, than regret not trying. Then you go back to the space idea. The vastness of life. You see tons of stars in the night sky. Hundreds? Thousands on a clear night? Thats not even a little bit of our glaxy. Not even a snippit. It's not even comprehendable to think about how big even our milky way galaxy is. Then you think about how each star is like the [expletive]ing sun. Think about how every single one of those stars probably have some type of similar solar system that we have. The nagain, think about how many more there are in our galaxy. Then there are even more galaxies in the universe. Way more. And the universe is constantly expanding. Big bang shit. It's a fact, the universe is getting bigger. But way we have a numberline of 1-10. One's on the left, 10 on the right. Say the “line” or boundary of the universe is at 6. It's covering 1 through 6. What's out at 7-10? Is it nothing? But what does that look like. What does nothing look like. Is it a color? If I had explain it, I think it's be like space. No gravity, no sights. No stars, No light. Just nothing there. But the color? I'd explain it like that color you see when you close your eyes. A little black? Yeah. But some greys, some reds, some greens and some blues. If you use your imagination, you can move the colors and make shapes and shit. I think that's what nothing is. So think about everything being nothing. When there was no universe. Just nothing was there. Everywhere, there was nothing. What was there before nothing? And for how long? When did time start? And where? Why? The veerrrry beginning. Before there was ANYTHING. And how far back does it go? Time just started for no reason, and it's impossible to wrap your head about thinking that like theres always been something in terms of time. It didn't just start from nowhere, but it's always been there like a loop or something. Then think about drugs. Whos idea was it to smoke a leaf? Why? Howd the first person find say tobacco, and what instinct did they hav e to start chewing it? Is it possible to engineer a drug that has a safe high, without it being addicting, or have any negative side effects? Would that be a good thing to have in society? Back to instinctual thoughts. How did reproduction happen at first? What type of instincts did the first reproductive sell have, and where did they come from, if it had never happened before in the history of time? And the reproduction of that one cell became everything we see today. The reproduction of that one cell, had the effect of e verything. Your friends, your house (people who built them), the plants. How diverse that cell became. Some cells would turn in to animal, and some turned into plants. Random chance. You have to imagine that's happening somewhere else in this large spectrum of the universe. We can't be the only ones.

Now think about society. Think about how there is one, and think about how at one time, there wasn't one. At one point, it was a 'dog eat dog' world. Now, something like murder is frowned upon. But was it a good idea to make laws? What if there weren't laws, weren't regulations. Don't look at it now, how there would be an increase in burglaries, theft, etc. Think about if the human civilization never became civilized, never made laws. If we were 'brought up' on an every man for himself type world. Would that be better? There would be more individual conflicts, one on one discrepensies, etc. But there wouldn't be war, because war would require 2 groups of people, and there wouldn't be such thing as a “group.” A world with no war? Not bad. And when I say no groups, I mean people can reproduce, but the kids would have to fend for themselves from say age 5, on. Now there's streetball on. And there's a kid who's like 20, 22ish and he has a tat on his neck. Now I question that. Why? Because it's streetball. It's not the NBA. These wanna be Harlem Globetrotters can barely sell out a highschool basksetball court. They can't be making that much dough. What about when he's 27 or too old to play? He didn't make enough to support himself. He's not making pension. He's gotta go into the job world. Nobody except walmart is gonna want someone with a tattoo on their neck.
