I heard the Mets are already having problems with Citi Field. Lots of cracking concrete, mold, other random structural issues, and today part of the big "Citi Field" sign fell down. Hopefully everything works out alright...as much as I dislike the Mets I loved Citi Field.

Oh well, its irrelevant as long as they get it fixed.

Well the sign falling is irrelevant, but it is not a good thing if structural issues are popping up all over the stadium, haha.

Obviously it's a sign of the Mets failing organization. An organization that can afford to put out a $140 million dollar pay roll year after year.

Ike Davis hit a granny today. :) I'm not too high on this kid but he did have a great year @ AA last year as a 22 year old. If he is having a good year in the minors by all star break I can def see him starting first down the stretch of the year.

"According to David Lennon of Newsday, Dr. Andrew Martorella, who is a thyroid specialist at Cornell Hospital in New York, says Jose Reyes‘ thyroid condition is completely curable, and he should be fine."

From todays game

John Maine struck out four of the eight batters he faced, allowing one run and two hits, while throwing 21 of 39 pitches for strikes.

Chris Carter hit two ninth-inning home runs.

The Mets have scored 91 runs in eight games this spring.

Jenrry Mejia pitched three scoreless innings in relief, striking out one and allowing two hits. He got Hanley Ramirez to pup out. He tried to field a ball with his bare hand, which prompted a visit from the trainer, but he remained in the game. He threw 27 of 33 pitches for strikes.

Ike Davis was 2 for 3 with two RBI, he also made an error in the field.

Rod Barajas hit his first home run with the Mets.

Everything seems to be going great this spring. The O's and Rangers are also interested in trading for Santos.

REYES OUT 2-8 [expletive]ING WEEKS?

I really cannot believe this, first Beltran and now Reyes, 2009 has not ended.

:(

A team with a lot of potential cannot get a damn break. I hope Santana and Bay carry the Mets through. I'd love to see a NL East showdown between the Mets and Phillies.

Alrighty final cuts are in and Jenrry Mejia the Mets top prospect is going to be the 8th inning to start of the season. I don't agree with it but the kid has dominant stuff and the bullpen is pretty weak. Sean Green made the team too for some reason, he's terrible but whatever. Jose Reyes Carlos Beltran and Daniel Murphy will start the season on the DL too.

Not mad with a loss, I can handle that when Maine gives up 4 runs in 5 innings and we only get 6 hits. I have a problem with the stupid decisions and mental errors. Tatis going home? What a lapse in judgement. 6-6 game in the 10th inning we bring in a guy who has never pitched in an MLB game? Terrible Jerry.

Awesome game tonight, Pelf pitched decent got in trouble early but kept his head in the game made good pitches and give us 6 solid innings. 4 home runs for the Mets the most we have ever hit at Citi Field. I was at the game, the park beautiful as always, however the hall of fame is really cool. Anyone planning on visiting Citi Field I highly suggest going to the Mets hall of fame they have a bunch of cool memorabilia and such, I loved it as a Mets fan. Only part of the game that sucked was that it was FREEZING. Nice win though, it's tempting to give Francoeur back to back player of the game awards but I got to give it to my man Rod "Raise the Bar"ajas.
