  1. Wow, things must be bad for the Lakers. I really have not seen that much of them this year. I guess I'll see them Thursday when they play the Knicks.
  2. lmao getting a +1 from shaliq isn't easy. /sarcasm
  3. LOL. That's ridiculous. It's probably a no call, but an offensive foul? Stop. I agree. Stackhouse being in at the end was rather surprising. And he took Blatche out during that stretch in the 3rd/early 4th when the Knicks had no answer because he picked up his fourth (cheap) foul. I would've kept him in. I actually think the Nets gave us some bigger problems tonight with Lopez being out. By playing small, Chandler seemed neutralized. Chandler's defense was wack as hell. JR Smith was HUUUGEEE for the Knicks. Everyone will talk about Melo and Kidd, and rightfully so - but JR Smith had a stretch in the 3rd and early 4th quarter where he kept the Knicks in the game with 3 or 4 real big jumpers. Biggest difference tonight? Knicks have Melo, Brooklyn doesn't.
  4. Coaching change? Absolutely not. I think Jacque Vaughn has done a darn good job. Take a look at this roster...there's no star player, and there's not a whole lot of talent in general. Nelson and Turk has barely played (if at all, honestly don't watch that closely). I watched them play the Knicks, and they have some decent young players. That Nicholson guy is pretty decent, and I like Harkless' athleticism. I think if the Magic had a star, or even someone like a Joe Johnson (all-star caliber player) they'd be right there in the playoff picture. I think they'd be a 6-7 seed in the East, and be a pain in the ass to play in the 1st round because they can defend. They are in much better shape than I thought they'd be following the loss of Howard, and I'm assuming they must have a decent amount of 1st round picks for the future, as well.
  5. That's pretty incredible man... Landry Fields has barely played, right? I haven't even watched a single minute of a Raptors game even though I have LP.
  6. Yup. 38 pts 7 ast But Lin sucks, just like everyone on this forum says.
  7. Lol! True that! So i'm assuming you like this album then, huh?
  8. I don't even [expletive] with him like that tho. The Documentary was sick back in the day, but over the past few years, I really couldn't listen to him. He seemed to be pulling out everything and anything (like dissing Jay) to stay relevant... The production on this album is insanely good, too. Production & features ... hard to fail!
  9. This album is, shockingly, really good. I thought The Game was finished about three years ago. This is probably a top 5 hip hop album of the year. Certainly helps the tracklist has all of the highest rappers in the game right now. Lol. But seriously, check this out...I ain't even a fan of Game!! http://cdnl.complex.com/mp/620/400/80/0/bb/1/ffffff/508b87eb9330de7c691aa18fb56cb116/images_/assets/CHANNEL_IMAGES/MUSIC/2012/11/gamejesuspiece.jpg TRACKLIST: 1. 10. We gotta get some revenge. http://snyknicks.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/ap71257217538.jpg?w=216&h=300
  11. lol u r a bitch well if u have like 10 drinks over like 7 hours it's not going to have much of an effect lol
  12. Yup. Probably a good thing they lost to Chicago, to be honest. If we had won that game, it may have sparked the entire 'is the team as good without Melo debate?' which is hilarious. That was a fun game to watch. JR Smith was chucking thru the first three quarters and was bricking everything...finally made a few in the 4th qtr.
  13. Eh. Knicks also missed very makeable shots. Felton missed a few near the rim he finished in the Miami game. 5th foul on Chandler killed us too, because he couldn't do anything defensively and had to tone it back rebounding wise.
  14. Patience is thin? It's more like no one in Miami gives a flying [expletive] about the season until the playoffs because that's all that matters. 70 wins in a reg season, for example, would mean virtually nothing if they lost in the ECF.
  15. True, but even from the start it didn't seem like a usual pumped up Miami crowd for a game versus the Knicks. Atmosphere really seemed dead tonight. And Wade and Bosh were probably the worst I've ever seen them. At least against the Knicks.
  16. when i said 25 pt blowout i clearly meant in the knicks favor. that game was amazing man. the knicks really, really surprised me tonight with Melo. Never thought they'd be able to orchestrate that kind offense. But, was it me or did Miami's arena and vibe feel dead? I just didn't feel the same passion Miami usually comes out with when the face the Knicks. Must've been lack of Melo/STAT
  17. This could be the best book I've ever read: http://www.insidehighered.com/sites/default/server_files/styles/large/public/chris-hayes-twilight-of-the-elites.jpg
  18. Better passer/court vision? Kidd Better Defensive player? Kidd Better Rebounder? Kidd Better at scoring/creating own shot? Kidd Better All Around player? Kidd
  19. thanks man. yeah i missed the jr smith gw shot last night because i was a 24 hour animal ER. i was supposed to go to the game too anyway, i just hope it's a fun game to watch. take my mind off things for a few hours
  20. i've been having a bad day [expletive]a my dog just died. i figured it's bound to get worse
  21. I have a strange feeling the Knicks are going to get absolutely killed in this one. I mean like...Miami by 25 type of a night.
  22. Rivers is super talented IMO. But he should've stayed another year in College. At least. The problem I have with Rivers is he is clearly a tweener - he is a SG (with a 2-guard mentality--score) in a PG's body. That can definitely spell trouble if the player isn't A. Fully developed (mostly mentally), which he clearly isn't. But also B. When he's not a real consistent jump-shooter.
  23. I agree. There's no real difference between them at the FT line in the 4th qtr. But I just rather have Shaq's personality. He was mean on the court. Howard, it just seems like it's gotten to the point where everything is a joke. The bits and pieces I've watched of him this year, there's times where it looks like he's not even trying to break a sweat. Idk if his back is still bothering him (would be a fair excuse IMO), or that's just the way he's playing.
