Carmelo missed a few shots early on he normally makes, plus the Heat are one of the best defensive teams. Let's not forget, the majority of the Knicks problems came because they couldn't get the ball to Anthony when they were fronting him. It wasn't necessarily 100% his fault. It was one game, lol. He is definitely a star player. And Carmelo played well in last years playoffs, by the way. He was the reason the games were competitive with Boston. And if we want to judge him based on a game, He had a 43 point/17 rebound/6 assist performance in game 2 last season in the playoffs.

They are on the road against one of the best teams in basketball, with two HOF players. You're kidding, right? The series starts game 3 in New York. If the Knicks win that, it could be a fun series to watch, if they lose that, then obviously it's over and won't even be competitve. The officiating was brutal. It was not the difference in the game though. The Knicks having an ineffective Tyson Chandler today proved to be a major difference. The Heat just played well and the Knicks played their worst. If both teams play their average games, the remainder of the series will be close and I still think it will go five. The loss of Shumpert is a killer though.

Terrible scheduling man, I was livid when I heard that. I'll have to switch back and forth. I'm a bigger basketball fan so my preference is to watch the Knicks, but I've been getting into this Rangers team the past few weeks. That Ottawa series was epic I'd be surprised, too. Tyson Chandler did not practice today. Flu like symptoms. FWIW, Woodson said there's a "strong possibility" Chandler DNP in Gm 1 tomorrow. Carmelo and Stoudemire say they think he will play.
