We've lost some active members...probably not the most intelligent basketball posters, but it's nice to have the activity and the people to disagree with, from time to time. I don't see why members post on sites with racial slurs, that are off-topic dominated, and that really have no direction. Our ages have probably caught up with us. I think its the fact that its summer. OTR was getting about 90-100 members signing in everyday around March/April, and it slowed down during the finals. Things will be active again around October. But as mentioned earlier, I think it's just that time of year when we have some downtime. Activity should pick up within a couple months imo. Honestly if that were to happen it would be good for us because we dont have a shit ton of members but we have member that have stuck around and been consistent with actvity. Other sites dont have the community like us and would fail leaving people looking for a new place to post once the lockout ends. But I also do agree it is just that time of year, season is over and in a way everyone just needs a break from talking ball, offseason it good to build interset back up, but the time october comes around we will be dieing to get this shit started again. Plus, you will soon learn that most of your classes are lectures that you will end up skipping because they post the material online, if you are lucky. That two hour break is going to suck if you don't have time to go home or if your friends aren't on break at the same time...nvm you have a dorm. I agree with fish though, two days off is boring. I actually look forward to going to school because I only have class for like 2 hours and the rest of the time I am talking or eating with my friends. You will be hammered with hw the two days you have off and you will literally have no life the other two days. You are better off having half days for 4 days and then 3 straight days off. In my school its typically the same classes on Mon, Wed, Fri and then Tues and Thursday are also the same classes, with the longer classes being any day of the week. Also, if your Astronomy class is a huge class, chances are everything is posted online and you can skip class. Bad idea because I had to wake up at like 6:30 (like in high school) and I was usually tired as [expletive] since I study late.
